Indication: Antifungal and Antiviral
Clotrimazole is fungicidal. Menthol acts as a local anesthetic. When Menthol is rubbed on the skin, it acts as a rubefacient and causes localized vasodilatation; which gives feelings of comfort and warmth and releves from Itching. Ichthammol is used to treat eczema, psoriasis, Acne rosacea and acne, and it decreases microorganisms in the area surrounding a skin condition. Boric Acid is an antiviral and antifungal, it works against both Candida albicans and the more resistant Candida glabrata yeast strains. Zinc Oxide It works by providing a skin barrier and helps in healing and prevent skin irritation. It acts as a sunscreen which absorbs incident solar radiation in the UVA ranges and reduces its transmission to the skin.
Compositions: Clotrimazole IP 0.50%, Menthol IP 1.00%, Ichthammol IP 0.20%, Boric Acid IP 1.00% & Zinc Oxide IP 5.00% Cream base q.s.
